PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI MELALUI LABORATORIUM VIRTUAL
Abstract
Keberadaan laboratorium dalam pembelajaran Biologi sangat penting, hampir semua materi dalam pembelajaran biologi tersebut memanfaatkan laboratorium untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar. Tetapi tidak semua pengamatan, demonstrasi, maupun praktikum dapat dilaksanakan di laboratorium. Materi tentang sel, virus, metabolisme, prinsip-prinsip ekologi, imunologi, biologi molekuler dan lain-lain memerlukan laboratorium dengan biaya, peralatan, bahan dan antisipasi resiko kerja yang harus memenuhi standar. Keterbatasan inilah yang kadang membuat materi-materi tersebut tidak dapat diekperimenkan lebih lanjut di laboratorium. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut laboratorium virtual sebagai media pembelajaran dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif.
