MOTIVASI BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI SMA NEGERI 1 BELAWA KAB. WAJO (Perspektif Teori ARCS)
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap gambaran motivasi belajar peserta didik dan mendeskripsikan upaya guru PAI dalam memotivasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Belawa Kabupaten Wajo, dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, pedagogis, dan psikologis. Data bersumber dari Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan beberapa peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran motivasi belajar peserta didik adalah terdapat ada peserta didik yang memiliki kebutuhan, dorongan dan tujuan untuk tetap antusias dan bersemangat dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran, namun ada juga peserta didik kurang berminat dan terdorong. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru PAI menggunakan pendekatan teori motivasi ARCS; Attention; dengan cara mengadakan ulangan, menumbuhkan minat, menggunakan metode bervariasi, dan media pembelajaran. Relevance; Guru menunjukkan relevansi materi yang dipelajari dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Confidence; Guru meningkatkan keepercayaan diri peserta didik Satisfaction; guru menciptakan kepuasan kepada peserta didik dengan pujian verbal maupun non verbal, serta pemberian reward.
Abstrct: There are two objectives of this study is to reveal the picture of learners' learning motivation and describes the efforts of teachers PAI in motivating learners. This study is a descriptive qualitative implemented in SMA 1 Belawa Wajo, with a phenomenological approach, pedagogical, and psychological. Data sourced from the Principal, Vice Principal of Student Affairs, Islamic Education teachers and some students. The results showed a picture of learners' learning motivation basically there are learners who have a need, drive and purpose to remain enthusiastic and excited in participating in the learning process, but there are also less interested learners and encouraged. Efforts are being made using the PAI teacher ARCS motivation theory approach; Attention; by conducting replications, foster interest in learning, using various teaching methods, and instructional media. Relevance; Teachers demonstrate the relevance of the material being studied to reveal the needs of learners. Confidence; Teacher seeks to improve the confidence of students. Satisfaction; teachers create satisfaction to students with verbal and non-verbal praise, as well as the reward system.
