PENGARUH SOCRATIC QUESTIONING TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA MAHASISWA PGSD UNY
Abstract
Abstract:
This research is aimed to find out the effect of socratic questioning toward the students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. Research population was all the students of the fourth semester PGSD UNY which consisted of 240 students. The sample of this study was class IV A and IV D of the fourth semester. The sampling technique was done by cluster random sampling. The data collection instrument used concept comprehension test on integer material. Data were analyzed using independent test. The results of the data analysis showed that using socratic questioning method affected the improvement of the students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
